My Wife really loves this….
I built this myself it has a total of a 100 watts of power can be bridged into home theatres all in a original 1970’s princess cabinet. It has a 7 speaker system and youtube does no justice to its sound capabilities. The Neon flash to sound as well but because of compression of the video, that effect is also misrepresented by youtube There is a 8″ sub in the unit and the neon responds to the sub frequencies through a sound modulator that i built myself any questions welcome

What is the jukebox program you are using. I been looking all over for a program that lists the titles on old fashioned title strips.
Do you have website or any documentation of how you put this together?

Answered my own question. Another fellow did the same thing and said the program is DW Jukebox. This is EXACTLY the type of program I been looking for.

Great job. : )
Great job. : )
Actually I am having a problem getting it to run on Windows 98 right now. The program doesn’t launch and it comes up with a “sound driver not found” error. Yet the sound is working fine. Something I am working on with the writer of the program. I have set up DWJukebox on two Dell computers with Win XP and it is running flawless. I am going to attempt a DOS installation on and old P166 I have laying around.

I’ve done installations on Win 98 Win 2000 XP and DOS works perfect everytime most likely a hardware driver issue i remeber reading somewhere about compliant soundcards

How hard is it to set up with DOS? I have FreeDos. The author of the jukebox program says he uses this version of DOS and it works.

isn’t it hard to look up your songs when you’ve got like over 1000 songs in it or sow.. :s I’m building my own jukebox right now, and I’m still searching for good software.. something that can look for a song ‘quick’. Do you’ve got any idea ?btw verry nice looking machine öI would be glad if mine only looked 1/10th as beautiful as yours..
yes there are other options but this software is what i wanted. dpending on how you setup the juke box just google touch screen jukebox software you’ll get really good ideas there
by the way this machine has over 15000 songs ; )
That’s sick but I’m the type of person who would rather have a MAME than jukebox
Ohhh and forgot to add its really enjoyable reminiscing on the song titles as you flicker thfrough the list : )
Nice work
good i likeit buh jesus happy hardcore lol hardstyle atw and techno omg brilliant
@vinygee Well, I’m looking for good software but I must say it isn’t easy to find. I also want to use buttons instead of touchscreen for different reasons. I finally tested over 40 programs and I also tested some media centers. The finest thing I saw was jriver media center 13. I only took the trial cause it was way to expensive. But now I’m wondering if it would be possible to make my own jukebox software and make it open source.. But with school and stuff I think that can take a while..
how did u do the number pad?
Now that was trick but i’m about to do a video on it, keep watching
what softwhere that and how u get neon to flash with sound
@TheBiz182 its also a mame thats the beauty of it
where did you buy the buttons for the jukebox part, and did you get them printed like that or how does it work? I would like to add that to my mame cabinet aswell. Using the same software as you. well, your cab looks much better than mine. Very nice work, very clean proffesional look. a+++
@QuintinBiker i purchased all the buttons from Jaycar had the glas specially cut to fit my panel buttons are mounted to a clear piece of PVC i hacked a keyboard controller with the aid of a multimetre . getting rid of the ghosting was tricky but i did it. i was bored when i built this one. took me a whole week
@vinygee Thank8 you very much for your reply. You have really given me an idea or 2, as my cabinet is very plane and str8 forward. once again, very nice work.
