Posted on May 16, 2008 05:30:41 AM

Today’s mame review is done by request of Metroidfan10. This game is ESP Ra.De. AD 2018 Tokyo on the Cave Generation 1 arcade hardware in 1998. It is a vertical shooter where you take the role of one of three Kids with esp powers who can somehow fly and shoot from their hands. Enjoy.

lol im guessing your not the biggest shmup fan lolyou never used B which is really really useful loland you never mentioned the bonus multiplier in the game that only shows when you hold B and press startand i noticed you never heald A when you do your character slows down making it easier to dodge the bulletsyou should review dodonpachi!!! =))but good game =)

I usually only add as many as I need, although sometimes I will add many so I dont have add more, I usually have the coin button mapped to back/select on my game pad for easy access.

the name of the game is never said in the game and it is always written with the spaces and periods. but anyway you want to say it is fine.

One of my favorite Cave games.

Quick tip : your player is small, but your hit detection is even smaller. It’s pretty much the back of your neck and the very top of your back in the center. AKA…The bullets can hit your arms and lower body and you won’t die, only that one small area.

Knowing that makes it ALOT easier to weave through large waves of bullets.

Out of all the top down shooters. The esp series stands out the most in my opinion. Music, Characters (good and bad), Also the overwhelming firepower you get to unleash. Japanese bullet patterns makes you feel accomplished when you pass through without getting hit. Cave is my kind of people.

you have no idea in this review wtf your on about ? the special shot always recharges and never runs out and is THE fundamental factor to scoring in this game ie the multiplyer ……. learn the game before you misinform ppl .
