PHOENIX is an exciting space game, with special audio and visual effects, challenging the skills of the most experienced player. Fascinating visual graphics and extraterrestrial sounds add to the intensity of this game.
There are five basic stages to-each round of play. After a melodious introduction, the first stage begins with a wave of sixteen small Phoenixes attacking the spaceship. They drop missiles and dive at the spaceship, in an effort to destroy it.

I used to play this game about twenty-five years ago in Ibiza and Mallocca. I loved the big spaceship bit. Then to find the game on “Taito Legends” made my day. Still play it at the aged of 32. Great upload!

I use to love this arcade game back in the 1980’s. I wished that they were able to destroy the alien in the battleship as well but, the ship got destroyed instead.

Keep your missile at one end of the screen. It’s easier to hit the aliens, then. I used to spend all my dinner money for the week on ths is game circa 1982. I only weighed 500 grams while this game was out.

Nice graphics considering the time of release, but geez louise those sound effects peg a solid 10 on the annoyance meter!
