I am hard pressed to think of any modern actress who has the power of Rosalind Russell.

A classic, classic and CLASSY movie. I love Mame trying to turn the drinking around on Mr. Babcock. She had probably just finshed a cocktail herself! LOL!

I love her look as she reaches the bottom of the stairs and hears Patrick telling Mr. Babcock about the olives. Subtle, but hilarious. That look of “Oh God!”.

One of the best movies of all time. =)I love it when Miss Gooch says, “I’m a bride!” And although I love Lucille Ball, I think this version with Rosiland Russell is the best.

Funny clip. I love this movie. The actress playing Gloria is hilarious. Love the way she says “ghastly”, lol.I auditioned for Gooch several times but I wasn’t pretty enough. How sad is that?

“Their not going to live there…they’re building a home for refugee Jewish children!!!” Rosalind Russell is the ONLY Auntie Mame…Lucile Ball totally sucked in this role.If you love this scene you should read the by Patrick Dennis. This scene in the book is ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICAL!!! Rosalind Russell did it total justice!
