Actually I don’t believe the Linux version of MUGEN works on the PS3 Linux, do to it’s limits.
Also I just hooked this up to my tuner card and recorded it that way, if it was just pc linux I would’ve done a screen recording program and the quality would look much better than this and it would be fullscreen lol

i was pretty sure i found a vid showing a livecd mame emulator that you dont have to install linux to use, i guess just install it as the second os, i dunno tho, if anyone knows a version of mame like that, let me know

yes sony hired this one team to create a specific linux for the ps3 forgot the name of it but i saw it here on youtube and supposedely runs like any other linux on a pc.

PS3 can install some linux distro’s on a partition on the internal HDD, however the CPU, Cell, is based on PPC architecture. So provided the PPC/Cell build for x app is present, then yes. Like a normal computer… but it’s seriously slow - 256MB RAM with no direct access to the GPU… not fun.

Technically it already can play MvsC, its just sony locked down everything, and your going down a road with a dead end. Once they lock the gpu you are limited to only so much. Find a way past the lock and you could make the ps3 play any game out there…. but that will never happen, and if you did find a way past the lock , I’m sure some asshole out there would want to sue you for gay shit.
